NRV Marine Consultants aim at offering our services in the large and diverse Yachting Industry. We have the experience of carrying out a variety of accident investigations, condition surveys and damage claims in cooperation with Owners, Chartering Parties, P&I Clubs and many Insurance Companies.

Moreover, based on extensive Naval Architecture work and the aforementioned experience, NRV takes on projects aiming at performance improvement, marine solutions, repair and maintenance of yachts. 

We are involved in the boat and yacht building industry both as consultants and as design office. Whether internally or in cooperation with our partners, we develop the design, necessary studies and plans based on the needs of each customer. Understanding the significance and the connectivity between each step, we monitor the entire procedure from lines plan to construction.

We perform surveys of yachts in order to determine, within the limitations of the survey, their condition and performance capabilities. Conditions surveys are applied in cases of yacht purchase, chartering and insurance covering the aspects of hull, steering & propulsion, superstructure & decks, navigational & deck equipment, interior, machinery & systems, electrical systems etc.

We act as expert witnesses in cases of marine accidents in the yacht industry on behalf of owners, charters, insurance and P&I Clubs or courts. The scope of work covers from investigating the routes and causes of the accident up to damage and repair cost estimation. NRV offers availability at any time and place.

We undertake study and supervision of work carried out on yachts for damage repair, maintenance or even modifications in order to improve the vessel's performance. The project and selected service crew are customized based on case by case requirements. From the initial analysis until the completion of the project, we have full supervision of the progress, while ensuring direct and immediate communication with the owner or charterer.
