Hydrodynamics
Hydrodynamics cover studies focusing on the performance of a ship or any floating structure in the sea environment including motion responses (seakeeping), resistance, propulsion efficiency and tank sloshing. These studies can lead to an optimization of the vessel's design or operation. The hydrodynamic calculations are carried out through tailored CFD analysis. For more in depth analysis, experimental investigation can be incorporated.

Stability Analysis
Stability analysis is performed in order to prepare Trim & Stability booklets for new designs, existing and refitted vessels. The analysis also ensures compliance with regulations and Class requirements. For this purpose Intact and Damage Stability Assessment is carried out after based on the applicable requirements.

Mooring Analysis
Mooring Analysis is offered for the services in the Offshore sector. The vessel's motion responses (RAOs) are calculated in combination with the resulting line tensions. A mooring system is decided according to the analysis in order to comply with Class Regulations and API. A variety of options can be applied such as static or dynamic mooring analysis, single or multi-leg moorings, intact or single-line failure etc.

Structural Analysis
Structural Analysis may be performed in global or local scale. Globally, the longitudinal strength of a vessel is calculated under the various operational loads along with the mid-section properties. Axial and torsional moments are evaluated.
Structural assessment can be applied for local sub-structures of the vessel like cranes, heli-decks, mooring fittings, winches, grillages etc. The analysis is performed with FEMs for local environmental or operational loads.
The aforementioned analyses may additionally be applied for vessel conversions, cargo transportation or damage evaluations & redesigns.

Plan Approval
Plan Approval for specialized vessels can be carried out in liaison with Classification Societies. We offer advice during the early stages of the design throughout the completion of the project. The approval includes main drawings, scantling drawings and system drawings to ensure the full compliance with international standards and regulations.
